IReverseCommand nRoute WPF

Apr 15, 2010 at 5:20 PM

Hi everybody,

I am a very beginner with nRoute and I was quite interested in the functionality of IReverseCommand. However, after doing a simple example, I've found out a runtime error which makes me hesitant about I am using a right dll of nRoute. In fact, I've pretty much developed the first of the examples in the post: http://bit.ly/4NtRSD.

The error is: "'IReverseCommand' type does not have a public TypeConverter class" (XamlParseException)

Besides, I have to set CLS-Compliant to false in order not to receive warnings about the declaration of the IReverseCommand property.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Swordwallace, I can off-hand tell you that the problem is you are using the Silverlight version of nRoute, rather than WPF one! Now, download the latest release of nRoute from http://nroute.codeplex.com/releases/view/43543 (get either nRoute.Framework or nRoute.Toolkit version) and use the dll in the Desktop folder for WPF.

And just to show that this works, I’ve made a small WPF demo app that uses ReverseCommands (using nRoute.Toolkit), download it from http://www.orktane.com/Downloads/WPF_ReverseCommand.zip

Hope this helps,

Rishi

Hi Orktane!

Thank you very much!!! You are right! I was not sure that my previous dll reference to nRoute were right. Now I am using the good one and everything works fine.

Furthermore, your example has helped me a lot as now I could see more evidences about the use of nRoute. By now, I am enjoying the ReverseCommand functionality J

I will go deeper into the framework and I am sure more questions will arise.

Best Regards,

MaS
