Compiling source

Greetings Rishi
I am trying to compile the source of nRoute 0.5 as i want to start working off it :) (early adopter) but the are loading errors as well as compilation errors.
The Loading error moans about not being able to load the mobile projects and when i try to build the solution it fails on :
Error 25 Cannot find the type 'nRoute:StatusViewer'. Note that type names are case sensitive. Line 188 Position 12. E:\Work 2009\nRoute\nRoute5\nRoute.Framework.Desktop\Themes\generic.common.xaml 188 12 nRoute.Toolkit.Desktop
Error 22 Unknown build error, 'Cannot resolve dependency to assembly 'System.Windows, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e' because it has not been preloaded. When using the ReflectionOnly APIs, dependent assemblies must be pre-loaded or loaded on demand through the ReflectionOnlyAssemblyResolve event.' nRoute.Framework.Desktop
I check teh references and the project reference to nRoute.Framework.Silverlight has a waring triangle icon.....
Any ideas?

Hi, well couple of things:
  • Try getting the latest check in, as I've fixed couple of bugs and missing links. And I've double checked the latest checkin does build properly
  • Secondly, none of the samples have been updated to working on v0.5, all the samples should reference the 0.4.5 release
  • The "System.Windows, Version=" thing seems like a missing reference, ensure you have SL4's SDK installed and WP7 tools installed (the warning triangle indicates missing reference)

P.S. I'm actively working on v0.5 release, so for some time you might need to keep up daily changes and breaking changes too..

I am running in to the same issue.

I am using a pure WPF app and want to use nRoute, I added nRoute.Framework.dll to my wpf project, I don't understand why should the nRoute core framework rely on a Silverlight assembly.
Also I do not want to install BlendSDK or any other SDK to build this, as my WPF app needs to be standaloone shipping along with all the referenced dlls.

Any help is highly appreciated.
